Dropped in here for a $1 drink thanks to "bartab" application on facebook with a good friend. We started off with a cherry blossom for her and a raspberry lemon drop for me. Both were quite excellent and soon followed by another round. This time passion fruit cosmo for her and watermelon martini for me. These were also mighty tasty. The freshly popped popcorn wasn't too bad either haha. The bartenders were great. They sure know how to make a darn good drink. My only regret is that we were there too early (around 6-7ish). We'll definitely be back for the great drinks and this time great piano.

I think it's a testament to the place when I took my 3 year old to the Aquarium and even after we had been there for 3 hours he still wouldn't let me leave. We were heading out the door and I replied, "But we've seen everything, what do you want to see again?" His reply was "Sharks Daddy...I want to see the sharks again." I'm a little biased because I used to volunteer here before kids came into my life. I love the Ocean Exhibit, with the whale sharks and newly acquired manta rays. We sat in front of the tank for a good 40 minutes. I'm a little sad and probably should have asked someone what happened to the seals and penguins, but that peguin exhibit needed to be redone anyway. And of course, I can't wait to see what they do for the upcoming Dolphin Exhibit. The entire family purchased season passes, and I can't wait to go back!

Cafe Cocomo is so much fun! Walking into this place is like entering a new experience of hip shakers & twirling salsa dancers where it's all about the live music and the moves. It's a very diverse crowd where everyone is friendly and it doesn't matter what your age is. We couldn't take our eyes off as there were alot of amazing dancers with stellar moves here. There were kicks, head flipping, dipping, and fancy foot work happening everywhere you look. I went with group of girls and we danced with different partners. Everyone was very respectful and just a good vibe all around. The live band is great and just adds to the atmosphere. They also sell yummy snacks like nachos, tacos, and quesadillas for dirt cheap. I am definitely coming back for lessons during the week.
