Truly costs an arm and a leg... a few Bud Lights each and 3 games of bowling for 2 people was well over $100. Just crazy. That said, the service was very good, it was clean and the atmosphere was great. Not a ton of young people from 8pm-10pm on a weekend night, but there were a bunch of families and it wasn't crowded. I'd probably come back, but then again I'd probably bring a flask or something. Still classy? Meh.

oMg, this place should be shut down due to health hazard & safety concerns! There is barely any air circulation and the place gets so packed that people are pushing (which means sweaty people constantly burshing up against you). It was so bad, my back was sweating (ewee ) two minutes after I entered the club! Drinks were pricy and not strong at all (I had a AMF and incredible hulk) so imagine if you had bottle service. One of the table top dancer had cellulite (eek!).  It was a total waste of a cute clubbing outfit.  The only, and I truly mean only, good thing about this club was the music, great songs, selection, the DJ's really know what they are doing! Also, not very diverse and quite ghetto to say the least. FYI the club website is quite deceiving.  If you're looking for upscale then this is definitly not the place and if you're 24+ get ready to party with kids who have fake id's. -Dori

I don't know why there aren't more rock shows here. I guess maybe the Chippendale's are taking over? Or is it the techno? Anyway, there was a period of time where this place seemed to be getting all the shows you'd normally find at the Avalon -- and that was a good thing! (As a note: I've never been for anything else beside going to see a band play.) This place sort of fixes all the problems I have with the Avalon -- on the main floor they have a raised platform for all the kids who want to get sweaty and then behind that there's still plenty of room to stand about and watch the show with out getting claustrophobic. There's scattered little tables and a big bar for hanging around on and setting your drink down. Then there's the upstairs balcony that goes all the way around the place where you can even sit and still get a full view of the stage. It's a simple design but it's perfect for your average rock show. But like I said, it seems they've decided to specialize in other things here -- which is a shame as this place beats the Paradise and the Avalon by a fair margin as the most comfortable club to see a show in Boston.
