National Mechanics was the first bar I went to after I turned 21 and it's definitely been the bar I've been to the most times since. The drinks are a little expensive here but the services has always been good, the bartenders are usually friendly and it's just about always a good time, and most importantly- their food is delicious, which is awesome when you've been there for a few hours and get the drunchies. They have some pretty cool events, quizzo and karaoke are always a great time. Their glasses are really cool too. I love the John Street one! Saturday nights are my least favorite night to go though, it gets really loud and very un-National Mechanics-like. Every other day/night I go it's pretty chill and very fun. On Saturdays its typically very loud and crowded.

Wow the sound system here will give you an eargasm not to mention the top notch DJ's spinning here almost nightly. Junior Vasquez, Garnier, Josh Wink, and many others...if you like house music then this place is for you. I prefer to come when I know some badass is coming to town. Bonus if its a weekday. Its just one of the spots that you want to dance at. This spot really helped me release my inner dance floor whore. I used to spend a lot more time meeting new people and having a great time with a little bit of dancing but anytime I come in here I only care about the music and hit the floor. Morgan Approves...
