The first time I went to this club I was blown away!! Not to mention it was spring break and packed!! Its HUGE, great mix of music and good hip hop. Hands down the best club I ever went to. However when I went a few months ago I was disapointed which droped it down from 5 starts to 3. The head bouncer(tall somoan guy) was kinda a jerk and very stuck up. Waited an hour and 20 mins before I just walked out of the line which didnt move because of some private party. I understand its south beach but this wasn't cool. So many other clubs to go to.

NEVER have I EVER paid so much for a drink in my life! I expected this place to be expensive so I opted to just get a one strong drink and be done with the bar for the night. I ordered a Long Island and it came out to $19 bucks. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? Turns out the drink itself was $16 BUT they charged a 20% service fee... WTFREAK? Since when are you not allowed to tip as you please! Now with that price tag, you'd think the drink would taste good at least right? NO! The drink was disgusting. To say the least, that soured the beginning of my night. Thank goodness for good company and decent music or else my night would've been completely ruined. Club doesn't start getting crowded until closer to 1am and when it got crowded, it was a bit out of control, especially downstairs. Dance floor sucks downstairs since it's squared off with VIP tables and music is ridiculously loud. And people really need to put on some deodorant because it smelled like BO so badly!! Upstairs is all hip hop and it was a bit more chill and empty so that was much better good. I definitely left the club with my ears ringing. UGH!

Now I don't know much about the Austin club scene, but as an avid club goer in DC/CA... I can say this is seriously under par. I see what it was trying to achieve, but it didn't make it. I think most of the problem was the music choice, which was awful. Also, the people seemed to be trying way too hard. It was trying to be upscale, but it's a far cry from that. There were a couple of girls in there that thought they were playboy bunnies trying to take pictures with all the dudes, it was just sad. I think because it's supposed to be upscale, people think it's OK to walk around like they own the place... which it's not. Conclusion: Not ever going back. Not happening.
