by Zaida Reicks on Just a note: I never tried the food here so this review is for the bar, staff, and venue itself. This was part of a bar/pub/restaurant crawl I went on with my dad and uncle in Philadelphia. As my uncle lives in Philly, he wanted to show us around town and where he usually hangs out, drinks and womanizes. Hey, I guess it runs in the family. This place is a classy looking joint, with a nice set up, cool looking basket chairs that hang from the ceiling on the upper level of the restaurant, and a gorgeous outside terrace overlooking the nicer area of Philadelphia up on the second floor. The bartenders were nice and cheerful. The Guinness was delicious. And it tasted so much better in the fabulous 70-degree weather out on the terrace. When I come back to Philly, I will need return here to try the food while sitting in one of those basket chairs.
by Jean L. on We got there a little pass 1am and the cover was $5. We parked at the highlands and walked over. The music was good and the crowd was well mixed but the drinks are weak. Everything was normal like any other clubs except one scene: hhahah, a latino girl was flashing the bartender for stronger alcohol!
