Very mixed review. I'll start with the yays. Great concept, entertainment bizarre, inspiring, talented, fun to watch. Eating in bed, my fav. Great music! We had a great time dancing after the entertainment. The cons: they ask for a credit card up front which is suspicious. You loiter until someone takes you to your bed. We got a waiter that had the shakes....obviously over indulged in the white stuff. The food is the worst, wayyyyy over priced and un-edible. 500$ for 4 of us and two of us couldn't bring ourselves to eat most of the food. So-so salad, bland soup, gamey lamb and about 1/2 cup of milkshake. AND, our night was the chef's first night. You would think he would have stepped it up a bit. Expensive yet delicious drinks. I've been here twice before about 3-4 years ago and the food was good. Something has gone awry. Has potential! Need to clean up their act, serve some decent food or go with a menu of selected appetizers, drop the prices a bit and they've got a hit!

Very cute spot, let me tell you it is definitely a breath of fresh air compared to the over priced previous Grape restaurant. Anyways... the decor is absolutely FAB and the drinks are really good. I had the classic Margarita and for $5.75 I got my money worth for sure! I did not eat the food because this occasion didn't call for it :), but the menu items looked great and I can't wait to go back. I give it two thumbs up and I can't wait for the spring/summer to go back. Hmmmm maybe Pure will be my new hang out spot for next year Jeez don't judge me you gotta plan ahead for these things!

It's loud. It's crowded. It's gaudy. It's so different! What happened to the old jazzy Bruno's that had so much style. I know the old restaurant turned over every other month, but I tried each one hoping it would click. Now it's just ick! They got rid of the restaurant part altogether and did a total redesign. The awesome bright white loungey bar that used to split the restaurant from the show (jazz bands usually) room is gone and what's left of the restaurant space is a huge room with a bar. Also, there are these ridiculously random murals on all their walls with everything from peace symbols and Grateful Dead logos to the Beatles and Elvis Presley! (see my local pics of Bruno's) It's definitely a club now not a cool music venue :( And the music/showroom that used to feature cool local jazz bands had a DJ...not horrible, just pretty bad and totally different. And where did these people come from? Such a strange mix of people and they're everywhere! So very crowded and clubby! I'm getting old... I have to admit I had a really good time here last Saturday, but this is more in part due to the fact that I was there for Kristi G.'s going away soiree. All of our friends were there catching up over laughter and drinks - though we were all scattered for most of the time because it was so packed. I'll visit Bruno's again for Kristi, but otherwise I'll pass.
