Parking was pretty easy. I was expecting worse. Found parking only 2 blocks away! Came here for the David Choi show. It was great. The drinks are good but the bartender was a little pushy with us paying right away and worried we were going to disappear or something...relax homegirl I'm taking out my wallet! (minus 1 star) Sat on the floor. A homey touch. Very intimate setting. Felt like he was right there, reachable, approachable, a real person not 5,000 rows away. Very cool area, very cool setting. I liked it here a lot. Will come again for another show!

First off....i'm a new rateclubser, but don't hold that against me. I've been waiting with great anticipation for PURE, IP to open. I work literally a stones throw away. I was invited for the pre opening party but only had time for a margarita, which I thought was excellent. The location looks fantastic and is very inviting and comfortable. I finally had time to stop in for quick lunch today, and only had limited time and limited appetite. I was a little dismayed looking at the menu and seeing the prices for the lunch plates. All I wanted was a couple of quick tacos, with no sides. The server mentioned they would serve any of the tacos ala carte, so I ordered 2 tacos 1 beef short rib, and 1 carne asada. The portion was decent size but the meat was completely flavorless unless a healthy portion of the salsa was placed on it. Also, the corn tortilla was too soggy to hold up, they should double them up. My biggest complaint was when my bill arrived, I paid $8.80 for 2 tacos and a glass of tea. 2 tacos do not constitute a $9 ($10 with tip) lunch for me, especially since I was starving when I left. Iced tea $1.75 short rib taco $2.90 steak taco $3.50 I guess I will continue to eat my tacos and mexican food on buford highway and go to Pure just for the drinks.

Ah, yes. A night at the Roxbury. Cue "What Is Love" by Haddaway. Cue simultaneous head bob. Cue nose itch... And.... go! One tequila, two tequila, three tequila deep and I was running around dry humping everything in sight. And by dry humping I actually mean making some foreign men very uncomfortable by using my pelvis to toss them between me and one of the other girls in our ridiculously out of control Bachelorette party. My pelvis is surprisingly muscular. Plus, foreign guys tend to be on the small side. I am pretty sure no one there spoke English. But that's fine. Everyone understands the international language of love. And yes, I did all of this in formal shorts. Suck it.
