I'm excited about the new addition to Polk St.  This is definitely going to be a go-to.  We started with some delicious oysters.  The salmon carpaccio might have been the highlight of the meal - I definitely recommend this app.  The combination seafood salad was good (but nothing like what you get at Swan's).  And lastly, the scallops with cauliflower puree were amazing.  Great atmosphere too.

When I think of fine dining, venues like Yoshi's come to mind. The decor is modern and upbeat.  The staff is efficient in the sense that they're moving around a lot but you can't really tell because before you know it, a dirty plate is gone and water glass is refilled in a blink of an eye. The Asian Fusion food here is delicious.  I had the Kobe beef sashimi, the scallops (posted  pictures too) and a round of mackerel sashimi.  I ended the meal with some creme brulee and a bottle of red wine (whose brand I can't recall at the moment).  In addition to the taste of their food, presentation was excellent as well, I really appreciated the healthy cuts of sashimi that I received.  There are really no complaints to be made, the entire experience was excellent. We had also planned to see the jazz show but didn't make it on time, still we could hear it from where we were sitting next door.  If you're in the area, definitely check this place out if you're up for some fine Asian fusion dining. Cheers

Mmkay before this past Wednesday night, I would have given this joint 5 stars, straight across.  The music ALWAYS makes me dance and the drinks are great. HOWEVER when it comes to the bouncers, or the bouncer that worked this past Wednesday night, what a fucken rip off man. So me and my homie4lyfe where bar hoppin looking for a place to boogie down.  Turns out it was a 2 dollar cover, no big deal. My homie told the doorman:  "You guys charging during a weekday?" Bouncer *nods* Me: "No problem I got you man, the music sounds better here than fuckin Beauty Bar". I handed the dude 4 bucks and all of a sudden the cover was now 6 dollars for both of us. I'm not a cheap ass, 3 dollors no big deal, but how you gonna raise the price just like that? QUE ESCANDALO! We left talkin shit. Mr. Bouncer what's yer problem!?
