I've been to this place during Tuesday nights for salsa dancing. It's decent if your sole purpose is to go dancing. My friend calls it Senior 72 because the crowd is older. But they know how to dance. I wouldn't come here if I wanted to meet a potential hottie but if you're a salsera or salsero, this place is pretty decent. Why the 3 stars then? Well, the dance floor does get quite packed and and the small room in the back is more ventilated but the floor itself is harder to dance on. WOuld I go back? Sure, why not! Just remember that you're there to dance! The men are pretty good leads! But then again, the older gentlemen usually are. :)

Honestly, I had a pretty good time here for my 25th birthday. Whether your out looking to watch a sports game, toss back a couple brews, hang out with friends, or even get your groove on the dance floor, this place meets all those criteria. During the weekday it's more mellow, but on the weekends is when it's happening. Just make sure to arrive before 11pm on the weekends or else you'll pay a cover charge. I would definitely come back and soon too!

There's something so illicit in walking out of a bar, (more than) tipsy, and it's still light out. Good place to sidle up, nestle in, or perch on a stool and drink martinis. The darkness, the vest uniforms, the nicely maintained lounge/piano bar decor -- perfect for adult beverages. Great bartender (the woman who does the early shift is no BS but also friendly, the way I like 'em). I was a little unsure when I walked in awaiting my very attractive friend (the most attractive man on Rateclub, to be sure) and ordered her a French Martini, as requested. Bartender looks at me, clinically: what kind of French Martini? There are many versions. We don't have a signature on our cocktail list. ME: Oh, it's not for me. I'm ordering for a friend. SHE: Well, let's wait for her then, shall we? ME: Hmm, sure, of course. Well, it became apparent to her we were (a) nice people and/or (b) not giggly girls and/or (c) had foul mouths. Dont know if any of that really mattered but bartender warmed up to us. PLUS, she was great at drink making -- she suggested lemon drop. I suggested something less sweet. She re-suggested lemon drop: Not sweet, she said. Tart. I considered and acquiesced: Ok. How about add a splash of soda to that? And no sugared rim. I hate sweet drinks. She busted out that mofo with perfect balance. Then we did *the nod.* I tipped nicely and she genuinely appreciated it, thanking me 2x. Come again tomorrow, she says. I liked serving you girls. We open at 4p.
