Great food, Great Wine, Great Music... Love this place! If only it wasn't underneath the freeway... Wine: They get some of the best wine in the valley at minimal cost since they ignore the bottling process and get whatever is left over direct from the winery. Plus it's green... Always a plus, especially in San Francisco. Food: We had the trio sauce to start, light and easy and I love sauces! Plus there wasn't many other options for an appetizer to share. For the main course I had coffee crusted pork loin. This was probably one of the best pork loins I have ever had, with a delicious cream sauce on top. For sides we had the truffle potatoes (Fries) and Mushrooms. Both savory and delicious. Music: I took my girlfriend and some of her friends and they are not big fans of Jazz... However, you can't help but get swept away in the cool underground feel of this place. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and a fun night on the town.

I am really too old for clubbing but I have a face that says I am not even 17 yet, according to the bouncer anyhow. The drinks were fairly gross and probably pricey. I also didn't pay a cover charge so I didn't feel 'ripped off", a repeated sentiment from other reviewers. There were a couple of very gorgeous and womanly Asian girls, probably the most beautiful I have ever seen in Boston. Even though they were more feminine and beautiful than I (even with a great deal of plastic surgery) could ever hope to be, I am not so sure if they spent all of their lives being girls. Then, there was the blond sorority girl who smacked my leg with a rose. What was that about? I had fun but it really wasn't about where I was.

Yeah, I get it. There may be better Tex-Mex in Austin. Screw it; I'm not ashamed to admit I love this place way more than I should. First off, it was walking distance from North Campus. That's a plus one right there. It's got great Mexican Martinis. Anyone who tells you otherwise is kidding themselves. Or they're getting the house. Do yourself a favor; spend the extra dollar and upgrade to at least the Cazadores. I also bit the bullet and did a Patron one once. I'm not sure it's worth the extra cash, but man is that thing smooth. As for the food, I'm a fan of two things: the Migas Enchiladas (covered with chili con carne sauce) or the Stuffed Avocado (covered with suiza sauce). The sauce choice is especially important; pair a dish up with the wrong sauce, and you get the wrong taste. The one major disappointment is the salsa, which is spicy without having a good taste. Yeah, the service tends to suck here, but it's almost all disinterested college students, so what are you expecting? My suggestion is to come late night and eat at the bar, preferably on Top Shelf Tuesdays (where premium Mexican Martinis are cheaper).
