by Terence Dison on I love this place! Our waiter helped us pick out a wine that our party would like, and suggested appetizers and small plates that would go along with it. This place is great for a date, girls' night, etc. One of my favorite places in Royal Oak. Thursday after 9, small plates, pizza and single glasses are 1/2 off.
by Daren Enrico on Fun dive bar. Cheap drinks! which is a nice surprise in the city, got two vodka tonics for $12. The bartenders are good and fun. Some of them are a little ditzy, the typical blond little girls bartending for the guys. Can't knock it because I'd do the same if I was a bartender. Played beerpong in the back, something I haven't done in a while. It was good until an aggressive girl freaked out that we played 2 games in a row and didn't rotate (we didn't know there was a line they just got there) Other than that it's a great space.
by Ricky K. on Yeah, woo-hoo, there are yo-boys from Jersey and overly-made-up cokewhores hanging out. All pretending that they are important. Funny, when the place lets out, half get on the subway and the other half walk several blocks to their mom's car and go home. They tried to make me stand in line and pay for a table. I told them I'd be at the bar, come talk to me in an hour.... You'll see the hangers-on and wanna-be-nephews-of-the-owners wearing last year's Express for Men clearance rack shirts and sporting cheap jewelry and fake watches. You can't do a jumping jack without smacking some coked-up loser pretending to be a big shot. They pass us cards to bypass the line, but it;s embarassing even being seen there. I'm afraid WPVI-6 will do the weather from the corner one night and someone will recognize me. Can you say hat and sunglasses? I've been to other bars where employees/managers and wannabe-nephews-of-the-owners go instead of G lounge (can you blame them) and they all seem to have runny noses and sneeze alot while making trips to the bathroom every ten miniutes. Wow. How awesome.... Don't waste your time here, there are many establishments in Ctr. City in which you dont have to be around such low people. Why bother?
