by Jennifer O. on We decided to try Sushi House Hayakawa after we stopped by our usual spot, Shoya, and found out there was a ridiculously long waiting time. So I went on rateclubs and read some good reviews and decided to try it out... Ultimately, the deciding factor in my rating for this place was the extremely unbearably long wait time. I think we went on a Friday or Saturday night at around 9:00 p.m. and I remember waiting about an hour just to get our appetizers. I mean, come on.. really? It's not like we really ordered anything special other than gyoza as our appetizer. An hour just for that.... and then the rest of our meal took an additional 30 mins. So in the end, we ended up canceling a lot of our orders and just ate whatever came out, paid, and left. Oh and might I mention that this place is a bit pricey for the portion that they give you. :( But I will say that the dishes we did get were pretty good and the sushi was fresh and delicious. I guess if you don't mind the waiting, it's worth trying. As for me, I'd rather go somewhere else and pay a little less.
by Bradly Moniz on I love martunis. I mean I realllllly love martunis. Their martinis are all so good. HUGE and filled with lots of alcohol. All the bartenders are amazing and come up with tricky shots to give. its fun to go with a group of girls just to hang out and get really smashed. but whoever you go with it'll be a good time.
