Even after you go to all of the poseur clubs in the area with expensive drinks, lackluster music, "be seen" crowds and various other annoyances, you will most likely END UP at The EndUp, because you know the music is going to be off the hook! GhettoDisco is my favorite night (Fridays) because it reminds me of the big House nights in NYC...where you're welcome to the dancefloor no matter who or what you are. Just bring your good attitude, a healthy dose of fire and the rest is there for you to behold. DJ Hawthorne has this ability to literally work you into a chiropractic visit with the gems that he spins. He always catches me off guard with a new jam or an oldie completely flipped around so that I literally feel like I'm levitating and screaming like my hair's on fire. It's just such a place of JOY...truly hard to find in the San Francisco music scene. Beat a path to the EndUp and save your money on those wannabe clubs. It's been in business seemingly FOREVER for a reason. Simply, it's the BEST!
by Sahar K. on Before visiting, ask yourself 3 questions to decide if Ecco is a good fit for you. 1. Do I prefer fun bars with a dance floor over organizing my sock drawer? 2. Am I too cool for tupperware parties but not too cool let loose and make new friends? 3. Does my I love music? If you answered yes to most of thes questions, the Ecco Ultra Lounge is the choice for you! Im not gonna lie, I was sad when the previous club that occupied this space was closing, but after returning since the change I was more than pleasantly surprised with the update. Small venues with kicking music and a friendly crowd are my type of place..and Ecco was exactly that, intimate and not intimidating. Bartenders, Door Staff, Promoters, Lighting, and DJs were all on point and made my night smooth and casual. Will I be returning, heck yeah!
