El Rio is home to the hipster queer afternoon dance party, 'Hard French' Although I've only been once this was one of my most favourite dance party experiences of all times. What made it so special? Well, it was a full-blown AFTERNOON dance party. Yes, that's right, people were getting down and dirty in the middle of the afternoon... In fact there was an hour-long line to get in and I didn't even mind... you know why? Because it was 3 o'clock in the afternoon. You know why I drank my face off and didn't wake up hungover at all? That's right I was in bed by like 9:30! Seriously, why hasn't this caught on elsewhere? Sadly I don't live in San Fran, but if I did this would be my favourite bar.

Nice party Indeed. Dark and Dirty is the only way to go. Funky house beats because all day I was running the streets. The dj's are listed in the picture. They were all uplifting and dangerous. Wayne Lyons deserves an honorable mention. He's hotter than Sriracha covered peppered lahmajun. Respectable, friendly person and even greater DJ. He had all feet swollen but I couldn't stop dancing. Street parking. Same 'ol bar Nice size dance floor (it expands if you look hard enough - though that was not needed but I of course I did it anyway. Nothing is wrong with dancing next to the solo speaker. We didn't hump - I promise) Smoking area : good size with a bar Outdoor DJ Live art plenty seating *the women's restroom stayed occupied. Its clean messy but not damaged enough for me to whine an entire review about. I would most definitely center an entire club experience around the cleanliness of the restroom but its not needed here. I will say that when I flushed the toilet it was powerful. I feel that it washed away my sins even. Every 2st and 3rd Friday the party is called Connect. House music. ...and a gay time was had by all.

NYC's second oldest bar. This place is crawling with character and historic flavor. Great place to grab a drink and connect with friends. The food is good, nothing to write home about but it's hearty nature is reminiscent of home cooking and compliments the bar's vibe. The decor and ambiance are refreshing and authentic. There are many places built in the last decade that try to emulate the charm and charisma of this old-timey watering hole, but the Ear Inn is the real deal and not trying to be something it's not Bike nights on Tuesdays for the motorcycle and gear heads. Seems to be mostly European bikes, moto guzzis, triumphs, ducatis, bmws, and the likes, but it's welcome to all.
