by Son Murchison on Fun, beautiful and my god, I want to steal one of those gold skulls planted in the walls. Our group of five walked right in without a wait or guest list but it was the night after Thanksgiving so the door may be much more difficult normally. Once inside they attempted to enforce a required coat check which we somehow shrugged off and went in to explore. While it was pretty empty the crowd was fun, beautiful and dancing their butts off to the same music that's playing everywhere. I tried to pry a skull off the wall but those things are nice and tight in there. We joined the crowd for a bit but ultimately folks got antsy and we bounced. Since my trip seemed a bit atypical, I can't wait to check out the scene on a normal evening now that Southside has worn out its allure.

Who ever the BIG D is or the short man with a cane is, you all look like being losers for your whole life, and finally feel like being somebody on Fri night or Sat night because you can control who to get in the club. They told to our faces, you are not going to get in if you can with guy friends no matter on the the guest list or not. We were herded to the side for almost 1 hour, basically they want you to give up by yourself and go away. Only unescort women can get in by giving a kiss or hug to the doorman. We were never treated like that anywhere else...... After we went to our hotel (Hyatt), the bartender told us that place is a shithole. they are really rude to people and again you can't get in with guys unless you have contacts. Guest list is useless..... who wants to be treated like shit when you go out and have fun! just find some other place!
by Thad Altamirano on Getting charged $20 and then stuck in a claustrophobic club. Not much to offer. It is either too crowded or empty that the guys, who are in majority, keep looking around. Mostly international but the club gets pretentious between the public space and the VIP. Check it out during weekdays as you can wait a long time outside (especially challenging during winter).
