We stumbled into this place while looking for something to eat before seeing Carrie Fisher's Show "Wishful Drinking". My first impressions were great. The place is nicely decorated making you feel like you are in some kind of Mexican plaza. The bar is nicely designed with plenty of room, counter space for patrons and standing area. We were greeted and taken to our seats right away. It was early on a Friday evening so there was plenty of space and tables to choose from. After we sat, I made an order of Corona beer which was served nicely chilled. The wine and drink selection was pretty good. We started with the homemade guacamole. A cart rolled next to us and a nice show started where the guacamole was freshly made and we enjoyed every bite of it. Meanwhile, I ordered the chicken taquitos to start with. They came shortly thereafter and they were nicely cooked with great taste. Now, this is the only drawback. Our main course took a looooong time to get. Seriously, it took almost 45 minutes to get the main course. Then, my chicken burrito arrived as well as my partner's beef burrito. His was nicely cooked but mine was a little cold. It could have been served much warmer. However, it was still enjoyable and I ate all of it. Dessert was served which we ordered a flan to share. It was very good and delicious. The place also has a dance club in the basement. I went to use the bathroom and I ran into this place which had all the typical makes of a dance club and bar. Bouncer and security met you at the dance club door and looked quite intimidating. The bathroom was not as clean as it was shared with club and restaurant patrons. We sat at the bar for one more drink before showtime. Bar was great and service attentive. We would come back to try more items in the menu and have of some more of that delicious guacamole! The Final Verdict: Ambiance/Decor: 5.0 out of 5.0 Staff Service/friendliness : 5.0 out of 5.0 Seating Arrangement/Layout: 4.5 out of 5.0 Seating Comfort: 4.5 out of 5.0 Food Quality/Flavor: 4.0 out of 5.0 Wine/Alcohol Selection/taste: 5.0 out of 5.0 Price Value: 4.5 out of 5.0 Bathrooms Cleanliness: 2.0 out of 5.0 Final Score: 34.5 out of 40 (86 out of 100% or B Grade) Final Comment: Nice place, good food and drinks makes this place one that will become a fave for good Mexican food and, if in the mood, dance to Latin music.

Went here on a Sunday night for the gay night. We had to get there ridiculously early because of "the line" that I was told so much about. Upon pulling up, I saw a pretty decent sized line that I was not happy at all about being on, but it actually moved very quickly and we were insider within 5 minutes. Once inside, I immediately wished to go back on the line. The decor was beautiful, especially if you are a big fan of Japanese design like me and it was an enormous space, so you could only imagine how packed it was when I say that there was hardly room to exhale. Within 30 minutes I had enough. It was too crowded, too hot, and the music was the standard house mix that I cannot stand. Meanwhile, I learned that the wait to get into the club after 11:00 was over 1 hour long. Absolutely absurd. The person that we intended to meet here literally didn't get inside until we were walking out. We caught a glimpse of one another by the entrance/exit and were told by the bouncers to keep moving in either direction. What a joke.

I really like this place. It's not too big and overwhelming. They have nice seatings too, very intimate. The bartenders were friendly. Drinks price were average-ish. I've been to other places that's cheaper or more expensive. I like the ambiance too. If you're not interested in the band, it's a good place just to hang out.
