I personally loved to go Johnson. They have really cleaned things up in the last year, not to mention that they have hired some great looking girls! You won't be disappointed visiting this place.I feel comfy going there solo. Love it!

My favorite Atlanta club! I'm a danceaholic (see my profile pics for evidence) and this is THE danceteria in Atlanta. It's super grungy, at the bottom of, what's for all intents and purposes, a cave. But on Friday nights the DJ plays the best mix of old school hip hop, funk and 80s pop on the main floor, with more reggae tinged sounds in the little room off the entrance. I can budget $20 and have a blast: $10 for the entry, $5 for a Lemon Drop and $4 for a Red Stripe and have a good time. The men are friendly, if not the most affluent. You'll find none of the posturing and flashiness of the more mainstream Atlanta clubs. The crowd is a mix of ages and I feel comfy going there solo. Love it!

I thought for sure I had given my review of this place......but in any case! I went here for a meeting, and it is a very nice space! The customer service was good, the apps we got we good, but the lamb was less than average. But, everything else was good enough to over look that. It is in an area that needs more spots like this. I didn't stay for the live music, but think that could be a very nice treat! I know that the drinks were reasonable and they will see me again, but next time, I hope to hear the music!

With an invitation from the Big Daddy in the band, the diva Doc and I cruised on in for Bruno's special grand re-opening party and I am happy to report the place doesn't live up to it's thug-like name. With a maze-like layout, Bruno's has plenty of mini lounges and wet bars where you can get cozy with your sweetie, or ditch one and find yourself some new trouble. Drinks are reasonably priced, but by round two, the high school cheerleaders posing as bartenders started to pour skimpier drinks and in Costco plastic cups. Not good. They serve food till 1 am, and while we choose the liquid nutrition, the food served looked like your basic bar fare that is dunked, dipped and deep fried in a vats of animal byproducts. If you're going to Bruno's, it most likely ain't for fine dining. As for music, things can get hot and bothered in the back lounge area with a very intimate stage. And if someone as sexy and soulful like Rocco DeLuca rocks the house, you may as well pack a change of clothes or a blow dryer, cause things can get steamy. If you haven't heard of Daddy DeLuca, check him out now, while he's still playing small venues. His star is on the rise. Overall: Groupie yourself over to Bruno's for some great music and a hot vibe.
