I went here about 2 Thursday's ago and LOVED IT! I think Thursday is an open mic night. After experiencing it I thought, how could anyone not like this place. The staff was friendly, the crowd was diverse, the music was WONDERFUL. The drinks were sweet, the pizza was good. I keep thinking about the next time I go there. Those were 2 of the best hours I've had all year. Other live music places around Atlanta have gone "Hollywood" in my opinion. I just want to go inside, sit down, listen to some music and at Kat's I got to do that. The only thing I noticed was a lot of the tables were reserved. I'm not sure why, maybe for regulars, or maybe you can make reservations, but I was there fairly early so I sat in a good spot right in front of the band. It seems to be a fun place for a birthday party as well.

Went here to get a few beverages and get the birthday boy (not me) drunk. The drinks were a little pricey, but I guess that's to be expected. There are a few areas to Bruno's. There is a dance area (with a bar), there is a casual bar area with booths (with a small bar and a full size bar) and an upstairs lounge (?) I think (likely with a bar). Anyway, I'd say the bar was okay. It was your average bar. What else is there to say. The DJ played 3 Lady Gaga songs in a row...first time I've heard 3 songs from a single artist in a row at a bar with a dance floor. I guess that's not really a knock. Just a wacky observation.

Good happy hour venue. It doesn't get very crowded, and the prices are good. They have a good beer list, and the food is good. Their veggie burger seems homemade. It's not a soy burger but a patty made with big pieces of vegetable like broccoli and carrots. They also win because they were home the first ever Philly rateclubs event.
