This place is everything you want in a neighborhood cafe: good food, reasonable prices, friendly servers and free wifi. I have found all of the above to be consistently reliable, except the wifi on occasion. Sugar Cafe fully meets all expectations - but I would add the prized fifth star if the tables didn't wobble so much and make me spill my coffee. Tip: the pastries are AMAZING - far better than a typical coffee shop. I recommend the croissants! PS- arts students are everywhere and the art on the walls frequently changes, giving the place a fresh feel on each visit. The Halloween decorations were quite impressive!

Interesting adult lounge with a cool interior, strong drinks, and fantastic $5 snacks. I'll continue to patronize this welcomed addition to WeHo, but if there's going to be an attendant in the restroom who expects tips, then he should be cleaning the restroom as well. I was in the men's room twice and both time the interior of the stall was disgusting with toilet paper and seat covers on the floor and urine all over the toilet and back wall. Also, there were three employees working the dining area, but only one appeared to actually be taking orders and working with customers. She was working her tail off while two young boys flirted around the place like royalty, constantly telling patrons the waitress would be there in a moment. I didn't understand what these two Jr. Divas were being paid for, but maybe a manager should have seen them in action. Regardless, it is one of the better establishments on SM Blvd and I can learn to overlook lazy associates and won't feel badly about not tipping the restroom attendant.
