A friend of mine reserved us a table for their show where little people sing Lady GaGa and Beyonce. Sounded great to me. Shit, was I wrong. The Table: We paid an INSANE amount of money for the table, when we arrived, it wasn't a table, it was a long bench. Which would have been acceptable, except 3/4 of it were covered with strangers not in our group. The employees did nothing to help us clear out the section for our large group of people we paid for, so we ended up standing in a weird space around the bench. Then, random people kept coming up to our table, and trying to schnope our booze. Again, zero help from the employees. The only redeeming thing, were the little people performers, which is why I'm not giving this place a 1 out of 5. If you're thinking of paying for bottle service, don't do it here. They treat you like crapola.

PARISH food is amazing! Fresh! Local! & Seasonal! I ate dinner there for a girls night out. We enjoyed: crab and avocado (lump crab, avocado, ginger pickled beet root, arugula, spiced vanilla vinaigrette, ricotta salata) new orleans bbq shrimp (wild Georgia shrimp served whole, bruleed lemon, toasted baguette) parish sausage plate (housemade sausages, spicy Abita turbodog mustard, mirliton chow chow) "peas and carrots" (field pea and ricotta ravioli, baby carrots, spinach, lemon brown butter, pea sprouts) georgia farm fresh vegetables (fresh seasonal local vegetables served over our buttermilk creamed Jenny Jack grits) Everything was fresh and exciting to eat.

OMG what an amazing venue, from the decor to the staff uniforms to the old footage playing at coat check to the stage to the sound to the performers! Saw Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings (HOTT SHOW!!) and loved it. I want to throw a party there & pick more artists I want to see there. I think Neko Case played there earlier this year & now I am so sad I didn't go!
