I had been there previous to my dinning experience shooting a little thing for TV. It seemed cool so I brought my lady friend on Halloween. According to the person i booked my reservation with this place cracks off on halloween. The atmosphere was interesting. We got hit on by some couples and definatley enjoyed our selves and the food.

went here on a friday night for what i guess was an open mic night. it was pretty chill. didn't go into the cafe but it was at the lil theater/stage area on the side. the cafe entrance is on the corner but i guess the stage entrance is under the marquis just a few steps down. while i wasn't terribly impressed, it was still kinda cool. it had the look of an abandoned theater, which is kinda cool in its own way. instead of seats, they just threw some couches here and there and the rest of the place was just standing room. can't say anything against the music since i didnt have to pay for it, but it was ok. there was a little bar on the side that i guess only served beer, wine, and soda. beers were $6, wine was $8. i stuck to beer :) there wasnt much staff around but the ones at the bar were pretty friendly. i don't know why people are complaining about the neighborhood. it's not that bad. maybe that has to do with being from CHINO.lol parking does suck but theres street parking that pretty available in either direction. that's more than you can say about most LA places. i guess i'd come for another event.
