by pracheta t. on I used to be a fan when G Lounge first opened but I went back recently, waited longer than I should have to pay a $20 cover to partially 'enjoy' my time at an overcrowded and overpriced lounge. I'll admit that it is the more trendy of lounges in Philly but this is so not my scene anymore. Sorry G Lounge but you will not be seeing me anymore.
by Cristina Cendan on The Local is just a great east atlanta institution. Everytime i go there i have an awesome time and the couple times i've eaten there the food has been good. beer is always cheap- they have 24 ounce pbrs and yuengling on draft. the service has always been great. this is the kinda place i would take out of town friends to.
by Lucina Economy on HAPPY NEW YEARS! I have to say...it's good to be a gaysian up in this joint. Let's talk about the venue: 2 floors, upstairs got a lounge UURea, and another bar...of course all the bartenders are waay kyoot! There are two types of regulars here: the gaysians and the fetishists. ***making two eye contact with those who are aware*** ...and that's all imma say about that. The stairway to the second floor is pretty slim, and if you'd already had a drank 'fore you went to the club like I, chances are, you're already stumbling, one foot over the other. Thankfully, there are the rails to help you "up" your way to the second bar. Oh FYI, 3 BARS up in this joint. I entered the "Single Ladies" dance contest here, and a whole bunch of people came...it was mad packed. Not to mention, I won $200. Anyways, this place is a great place to have fun on Fridays especially. Will be one of my regular spots from now on!
