I loved it I loved it I loved it. This was my first time ever going to a Science Academy/ Museum and I wish I had gone as a kid however this was just fine. It is wise to buy your tickets ahead of time just so you do not run out of luck and have them sell out. They are moderately priced too ($10-$12). I would also recommend purchasing the VIP option so you can check out the planetarium. This is strictly for adults and the coolest part about it is you can drink while browsing everything the academy has to offer. I was amazed with the jelly fish and the HUGE fish that was in the tank. Not sure of the name. There is also music being played. This is a great place to take a possible date. You can browse all the cool displays and aquariums , have a few drinks, groove a little bit and end the night off with a sweet kiss on the 3rd floor overlooking San Francisco. (just an idea).. I would love to introduce my friends to this place. 5 stars!

Only go to Estate when they're having a special event, if not it's really not that much fun, just a crowded room with a bunch of people trying to dance. Definitely not worth a $20 cover, but it's pretty easy to get free passes here. Honestly, the best thing about Estate are their dancers, which when they have an event set up like a runway stage for them in the middle of the club. Drinks are expensive, but relatively strong. I would recommend this place if you have free passes, then you won't feel like you got ripped off.

i'll give it one star just because I have to! Whatever you do, Don't do the coat check! My friend checked in her purse and after we left the club, almost everything was gone! They even took her chapstick!!!! The club isn't that nice at all... theres plenty of better clubs in L.A The music is just as wonderful as the club itself (meaning you can find better DJ's). The crowd wasnt that great either. Its like an all high school gym dance flashback, except instead of chaperoning teachers, you've got a shitty DJ and theives at the door.
