The Edison is a very sleek place. Make sure you dress up, they do enforce a strict dress code, I didn't know the first time we went and got turned away. The inside is like the 1920s, very nice, on Thursdays, they have the 35cents martinis, but you get a drink ticket, so you're only allowed one drink at 35cents. There's also happy hour foods, the sliders are a bit pricey. The calamari was a decent deal.

I've had the pleasure of seeing Auntie Trainwreck the only 2 times I have been to the KasBar. They are phenomenal! And the lead singer does a great job on the tough Janis Joplin songs! Can't wait to see them again!
The crowd, initially friendly, seemed to be a mix of characters from primetime television from the late 70s/early 80s. Mr. Roper, the perverted old man asking anything with breasts to dance. Jimmy Walker doing the 'dy-no-mite' Saturday Night Fever disco dance. All mixed with a whole lot of Rocky Horror Picture Show.
All-in-all, seeing Auntie Trainwreck at the KasBar makes a great night! Fantastic music and great people watching. Just don't ask for a beer with taste...it will cost you an arm and a leg!

How is supperclub getting 3 star reviews? I had such an amazing time! This past weekend I went to supperclub for a friends birthday party. I wasn't sure what to expect since all of the reviews mentioned crazy art performances, trapeze artists, and a guy in a blue spandex outfit. I was really looking forward to the whole "sitting on a bed instead of in a booth" sort of thing since it reminded me of Sex and the City. When you walk in, you go into the bar thats decked out in red and black and has crazy discoballs hanging from the ceilings. Drinks were a tiny bit more expensive than I expected but I still bought a few drinks. The bartender was really great and she made some great surfers on acid! YUM. After a few drinks, we made our way to the main room which is where all the beds are. The DJ mainly played house music. I'm not a huge house music fan, but I definitely got into it and was dancing the whole night. After awhile, I decided to chill out on the beds. Can I just say that those are some of the softest pillows ever?! I did not want to get up! I really liked how that whole room was white and how the different color lights reflected off the walls. There were also some crazy wall decor - Â mannequins, guns with lipstick as bullets, etc. The only thing about the beds, is that some people were getting a little freaky and forgetting that they weren't at home but actually at a club, heh. Great place for people watching too. The only bad things I can say about this place is that the bathrooms, while clean, were poorly lit. I could hardly see my face! I swear that wasn't due to all the drinks I had, it was the lighting ;) I would definitely come back here, maybe try out the dinner, but I wouldn't make this a regular spot just because it is a little pricey. Had an amazing time though! :)
