by Sara Guizar on This is a great place for a good glass of wine at reasonable prices. They have a large selection of both white and red wines from throughout the world. Moreover, they change the wine list regularly, adding new and interesting wines. I have tried a number of wines from $7 to $15 and find them all interesting and tasty. Most wine bars in San Francisco have few if any wines below $10, but I can always find one at Blush under $10 that I like. Blush gives you the opportunity to select from a broad range of wines by the glass. The bartenders are most helpful in assisting you with your selection by describing the wines that are offered and offering a taste if you are unsure. The bar snacks are also tasty and healthy. This is a good place in the Castro where anyone can feel comfortable ....... Your parents, your grandmother, your boy friend or girl friend will all feel welcome and comfortable. It has a nice modern European feel. It is casual and comfortable, and has a pleasant vibe.
