by l o. on I love Lime! I come here for so many birthdays and fun dinners before going out to party. I am so obsessed with mini food, and Lime does it right. Don't miss: the sliders, the fried green beans, the BUDDHA CUPS, the grilled cheese, the ribs, the gnocchi, the cheesecake lollipops. Don't bother with: the red velvet cupcakes. They've been freakishly stale every time I've gotten them. The eating here is best done family style. Order at LEAST the same number of items as there are people in your party and let the forking food across the table commence. You can easily order more food throughout the night -- my servers have always been happy to let us do that. Service-wise, I've had some hilarious waiters who've made the dinner that much more enjoyable, and complete ditzes now and then. The food is really reasonably priced. I usually get out of here at $15-$20 a person. Also, last time I made a reservation on rateclubs, it didn't go through to their system...which kinda sucked because it was for my birthday dinner. But Lime figured it out! Yay and yum.
by Edgardo Plesha on I breezed through Shout for a cocktails and dessert a couple of weeks ago. This was my first time back to Shout in a while. Before Shout was too hectic being overcrowded with poor service, which caused me to stop goign there. This time around it was quite dead. It's a really jazzy set-up and yes, love the beaded curtains. I never loved the food in the past so didn't go there this time. Drinks were good. Apple tart thingie a little dry. Would do Shout as mayeb a first stop on a night out. Prefer their sister, Twist.
