Seriously though, if your into trance/house music and you want to have a great time this I suggest you put on your fun pants, lace up your dancing shoes, get drunk and party at the Circus Disco in Hollywood. Everytime I've been here it's been a Saturday night, and those nights are trance nights. What I like about this place specifically is its very spacious (I guess the term mini-rave would suffice), the sound system is super top-notch, the crowd is very diverse, and the alcohol is STIFF! On top of that, they have separate stages upstairs, and around the main stage, they have food trucks parked right outside the venue, AND they feature some of the top world class DJs such as Gareth Emery, Marcus Schossow, John O'Callaghan, Menno De Jong, etc. etc. Personally I think when DJs spin at clubs they tend to bring on the heavier more upbeat tracks, which is awesome cuz all you wanna do is get smashed and dance your ass off. Not only that, Circus always manages to bring in the DJs that aren't too mainstream, but you've heard about them before and you've always wanted to check out their set. FYI, if you go on the 1st Saturday of every month there's a fetish event in one of the rooms. Trust me it sounds really weird and at first I was intimidated by all the latex suits and whips and ropes and what not, but if you have an open mind and check out the stage it actually makes the Circus experience 10x better. Shit, sometimes that IS the reason why we go. They also have a hot dog statue sitting outside, and as much of a drunken mess as I am when I am there I always seem to remember to make an effort to take a picture with it. Weird, but you'll know what I mean when you go. I've stumbled here, puked here, blacked out here, almost got in fights here, but it was all oh so worth it.

by Mary V. on mansion was tons of fun! not only was it one of the first clubs we hit up but we went back for more almost every nite! the bouncer became our 'friend' and we didn't have to wait in line or even pay on the nites we showed up past 1:30 or 2am. the venue is huge and the layout gives adequate dancing room, lounging and seating, and the drinks are good and stiff. I remember the drinks being pricey but it's that way in all of Miami..that's what hotel happy hour is for :) ..and making tons of friends! mansion is a tourist spot but that doesn't mean you won't have fun. good people, good music (house/hiphop) and a huge venue to roam around in.
