by Natashia Kaaua on If you are into Dia De Los Muertos, an aubundant flow of tequila and some yummy salsa and bean dip then this place is for you! The entrance is indeed a little disguised but it is right across the way from Burgandy. Go on a date or with a group the place is perfect for both. I like hanging out in the back patio, the bartenders back there are on top of their game. It is easier to park at the parking structure by the movie theaters and Amoeba. Makes it hassle free. Trust me.
by Kelsi Sinkey on The cover charge is ridiculous. So I've heard that Usher shot his "Love in this Club" video at this place. Well, its exactly like that video except you replace the hot video girls with unattractive Asian girls and WAY TOO MANY guys. I mean, its still free for girls, but what's the point of a $20 cover charge for guys and if I end up being engulfed by a wall of dudes the majority of the night? I give 2 stars because the music was not bad. However, something has to be done about that male to female ratio.
by anna marie c. on so now that i've actually been to a show in the downstairs area, i feel like i can finally review this place. the upstairs restaurant portion is decent...the decor is nothing memorable, the food is your standard bar food that is on the pricey side and again, not terribly memorable. however, it does serve as another decent venue for my work to hold happy hours, and to that i am grateful for. the downstairs venue is comfortable and clean (i saw apples in stereo)...the acoustics are fine and good...they don't often have bands there that i would love to see. so if some amzing band shows up, i'll be back.
