by Britt Fucci on Been here a few times. Can be a long line outside (ladies get friendly with the bouncers, fella's bring a book it'll be a while). Hot mixed asian/middle eastern crowd. Go if your into that kind of thing...I am. Saturday's are the night to go. Expect to drop $20 on cover and average amt for drinks. Just DONT give the bartender your credit card or if you do NEVER leave it open or you will get charged for drinks you never ordered. I've been overcharged $80 twice and my buddy got overcharged $100...bring cash or you will be paying the owners car note with phantom drinks.
by Lindsay L. on I must have been giving off pheromones that only attract retarded boys on Friday because my experience with the crowd at Bubble Lounge was excruciating. Either that, or the full moon was to blame. So I really do like the laid back atmosphere and it's a champagne bar, so that alone warrants a few stars. However, I can't get over the fact that some guys wouldn't leave me alone even after I'd actually told them to fuck off. Then there were the guys who were incapable of holding a conversation - not even an intelligent conversation, just a conversation - that made me want to shoot myself in the face. Oh, and then some guy threw a drink on a girl and it got on ME. So why 3 stars? Yeah, the crowd was awful, but I'm really hoping that it was just a fluke. I think Bubble Lounge has potential and I just need to give it another try (and maybe drink more champagne). Just not on a full moon night...
