I thought this place was tight; I had a great time. Came here Friday night with a grip of people for our friend's birthday. She had made guestlist arrangements beforehand, so we had no problem getting in for free 99, guys included. So if you have a birthday or something here, might wanna check that out. I'm not very familiar with Busby's so I have no idea what the heck this place was supposed to be and thought the layout was pretty random: there's like bartops with stools, a lounge-y game room, and a big dance floor kind of reminiscent of a high school prom but with good-looking 20-30somethings instead of prepubescent teens. (Even complete that night with a band!) Running around happily buzzing from room to room, I felt like I had the option to be in a crackin' bar, college party and lounge all at once. Anyway, whatever this joint is supposed to be, I thought it was cool and made for a fun night with the amigos. If you're just looking for an eclectic spot to chill/dance sans the stuffy, pompous vibe (but you wanna kinda dress up and look shnazzy at the same time) I'd recommend.

Many things in life are better when they're big. Big pool tables, TVs, and pints of beer come to mind. Jillian's certainly has all three and was the perfect spot for a our office Happy Hour/Leap Year party. Drink service was speedy in the billiards room and the meat-on-a-stick appetizer was delicious. I'm looking forward to coming back for actual dinner and a Giants or 49ers game. Oh yeah, I forgot one more thing that is better when big: ( . Y . )
