You know how in dance movies they always go to some local club and everyone is there to get their groove on and just have a good time? You know like you see in Dirty Dancing, Dance with me, Save the last dance, etc. Well, Little Baobab is that place! OK I admit the correlation w/ the movies maybe a bit much, but I love this place and I feel I've stepped into this other world when I go here. It isn't about how cute you are dressed or what song is playing, it is purely about feeling the music and having a good time! The crowd is diverse & friendly (no creepers), & the entire place is the dance floor...so if you love world music and you love to dance then this is the place to be! There is a $5 cover, It is small & gets hot, but it all adds to the experience. Put on your comfy shoes & go by here to get your dance on!

Shout is in need of a Gordon Ramsey makeover... Someone from the group suggested Shout for dinner because it was just around the corner from the W Hotel we were staying at - what a mistake. it was a Thursday night about 8 PM, there were only 2 other tables of 2 people in the entire restaurant. I should have known better when I saw the sign by the front door "all you can eat sushi lunch for $10". The menu is a hodgepodge of sushi, sashimi, pizza, and TGIF. The fish special I had was over cooked and under seasoned and the BF had a Shrimp and Andouille Pasta, neither were appetizing but we ate it because we were starving and didn't want to seem rude because we were with people from BF's work. By 10PM, just as we've all paid our bills, they turned off all the light and were ready to kick us out. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

I don't hate the place, but neither do I particularly like it. Granted I've only been during extremely packed times, but it was over-crowded (it passed the threshold of "wow, lotta people in here" into "wow, I believe someone just penetrated me"). The dance floor is kinda ridiculous, the type of small, cordoned-off area where you get to watch the drunk, awkward people try to dance and maybe the 2 or 3 attractive people get flocked to. The patio area is pretty much inside, which is nice for the cold nights and rainy days, but I definitely felt a little too boxed in next to the dance floor. I'd rather they ditch the patio, make it take overflow from the over-crowded main area, and push smokers into the street. It's in a string of bars, convenient for crawls...but "meh"...I can, and have, and will continue to have forgettable experiences there.

Well, guess what. That must have been Budda Bob's or the Astro or some crappy place that OTHER Tom Smith went to 'cause Killpepper's still rocks! Best place in town -without a doubt!

I came back here for a 2nd time because I thought the place was awesome. The pool tables were missing lags, the dart boards were on the floors, the karaoke machine was broken, etc. THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE NERVES TO CLEAN THE BATHROOMS. I don't know happened but this place is disgusting! Even the chicks got uglified.

This place rocks! Great place to hang out. The only place in Sweetwater County where you can dance to the best dance music. They also have pool tables, dart boards, Karaoke, etc. This is the place where the hottest women are too!!
