Probably one of the best restaurants in Atlanta. Phenomenal food, bread and cheese selection. You can dine here as cheap or as expensive as you want to make that evening. They got you covered. Free valet parking (Yes, I am cheap and would not consider a place without free parking of some kind!). Please be kind and tip! BIG MINUS: The owners never come out to greet the guests and talk with them. Understanding they are busy running the front and back, it's a differentiator that makes a guest come back to a restaurant versus another. Even Guenther [Seeger] made it out of the kitchen every so often. And he was certainly not the social kind. Verdict: Well worth it. I personally don't go that often. However, it's a place for a beautiful date night. You won't be disappointed!

I'm determined to have my skull gold plated when I cark it! Maybe I can arrange a special spot for it to nestle on the walls of the Gold Bar...so I can listen to the awesome chill out beats the DJ spins... If only I can work out a way to stop people from kissing my skull and give me a puff of their ganja instead!

I have a love hate relationship with this place. It is all about the music and that's why I love it but there is something I've always hated about recessed dance floors, I don't want to feel like I am in a fishbowl. But the saving grace of this, people are usually dancing their a$$es off and don't care who's around, what they're doing or how good they are at dancing. Most people are just there to dance. There is always that one or two sketchy older men that are cruising for something but it's no where near as bad as most clubs in the city. And you can be almost guaranteed to have great music. One other bias of mine is that I've only gone there on nights that I love the DJ and I've avoided the weekends. Francois K is a guarantee as is most other talent they book, Dubtribe Sound System even played their last ever show together there...then Francois brought Sunshine back! What a great venue for these monumental nights!
