Probably one of the best aquariums in the country, along with the Monterey Bay aquarium in California. This aquarium has five main areas to view and a ton of 60 foot aquariums where you can see sharks, rare fish and other creatures. Definitely a great time with fantastic pictures. I'd highly recommend it.

Probably one of the coolest and most eclectic, er, bars in the City. When the weather is nice, its a great place to head and enjoy a couple drinks. It also helps when you get invited to private parties here because the drink selection is better and you can wander around the Frying Pan itself. Not to mention, when I've got a couple cocktails in me I'm less likely to think about the fact that I'm walking around a boat that spent a good part of its life at the bottom of the Chesapeake.

I have a love hate relationship with this place. It is all about the music and that's why I love it but there is something I've always hated about recessed dance floors, I don't want to feel like I am in a fishbowl. But the saving grace of this, people are usually dancing their a$$es off and don't care who's around, what they're doing or how good they are at dancing. Most people are just there to dance. There is always that one or two sketchy older men that are cruising for something but it's no where near as bad as most clubs in the city. And you can be almost guaranteed to have great music. One other bias of mine is that I've only gone there on nights that I love the DJ and I've avoided the weekends. Francois K is a guarantee as is most other talent they book, Dubtribe Sound System even played their last ever show together there...then Francois brought Sunshine back! What a great venue for these monumental nights!
