Came here on a Sat. They doormen was on there selective BS, even when it wasnt that packed...i gues they were limiting the men that got up in there... close teh door RIGHT when i was about to go in...i had to slide the doorman some $$ to get in. Inside was nice. It was House/ underground night...DJ Carlizo on the bottom floor and DJ Joey Vega on the top floor..GREAT MUSIC ALL NIGHT..i danced my brains out.......Drinks are pricey...they closed teh bar at like 4 or something but then opened it back like 10 am...go extra hammered!!  CON: seemed to be a heavy amout of TS in the house that night...just not my scene...didnt matter great time for all...closed the placed down at 2 pm ish...slept for 16 hours! i would love to see what a hip hop night looks like.

This had to be one of the most pathetic dining experiences I have ever had. HOSTESS: Missing in action for 10 minutes. 4 dining groups with reservations were waiting by the time she returned. SERVICE:  The service was friendly ... when they decided to actually make an appearance at your table. However, they could never remember the things you asked about or needed and had to be asked several times. It took THREE requests just to find out what size their steaks were. It also took THREE requests to get a spoon for a bowl of soup which had already been served. It was ice cold by the time we got the spoon. FOOD QUALITY: Lamb Chops: They must have someone who is apprenticing preparing their meat. I have never received lamb chops where the meat was cut to an uneven thickness, had been pressed onto a grill, fell over limp when you picked it up ... or where the process of Frenching had splintered the bone and it was served that way. Calamari: I thought restaurants had all figured 10 years ago how to cook calamari so it wasn't like rubber. I was wrong. Or maybe Kress is trying to get into the tire business? Really, really awful. Asian Carne Asada: Way too salty. To the point of being almost inedible. DRINKS: I get the need to charge club prices for their drinks however, a virigin drink (no alcohol) is NEVER charged at the same rate as the one with alcohol. Yet, I was charge $14 (full price) for a virgin drink ... that was mostly ice. All-in-all this was a memorably BAD dining experience which cost $$$. Ironically, they seemed unaware of how bad they were as they included a 20% off coupon for a future visit. I put that in the circular file the minute I got home. If you do feel the need to go there to dance and do the club thing, spare yourself the experience of dining there.

This place really sucks.  The cover is too high, the drinks are too expensive, the music sucks, the decor looks like a crappy Reno (not Vega$) casino but a little more run down, the dance floor is small and crowded, they seriously need a better ventilation / air conditioning system, the view's not as great as you'd expect and the windows aren't all kept clean anyway, the bathroom isn't kept clean, the tables aren't kept clean, the crowd here is mostly a bunch of obnoxious yokels from Tracy or Vacaville or somewhere and act every bit the part (I may be from Concord, but at least I know how to behave!), and for Christ's sake would somebody tell those f**king sorority whores that it's a dance floor and not a damned sidewalk - so quit walking through every 30 seconds with your drunk ass stepping on my toes!! You know what; really, just don't go here.  This place definitely ranks on my list: Permanently Banned!
