by Eclectic C. on If you're thinking about going...Don't think. Just plan a visit with your friends and GO! I love this place! The atmosphere is definitely a cool laid back vibe which I enjoy! I love the decor and the patio is my fave place to be. It also has a bar out there. The bouncer is pretty nice, in fact I overheard him tell some people "I'm not like most bouncers around here." Thank You Mr Bouncer, for going against the stereotypical beefy asshole bouncers that are way too easy to come across. We appreciate you! When visiting, make sure to try the Mexican martini! Yum!

I love how they hold a hang-up-your-own-crap gallery night with the best soul music I've ever heard (or was that just the gin playing with my ears?). I danced the night away and I'd love to do it again. Major points to the bartender for fixing me another drink for free after my drunk ass spilled one all over myself. Let's hope my love of dancing guides me to Koko's again very soon!
by Marjorie Queller on Bimbo's is my favorite music venue in San Francisco and quite possibly my favorite music venue anywhere! From the swanky tables and booths with waitress service, to the killer sound system, and fabulously killer and strong Manhattans, everything just scream class and relaxation. Also the line up here is one of the best in the city. I've seen three shows here in the last year (Stuart Staples [Tindersticks], Daniel Johnston, and Spiritualized) and they were all simply amazing. Bimbo's is truly one of those one-of-a-kind places that makes San Francisco an amazing place to live.
