First off -- this was my absolute first step inside the W Midtown Atlanta, ever. It was nice to finally go inside and check out the lobby/restaurant area. Cool vibe -- nice conversion from the former Sheraton to W brand. We made reservations for Sunday dinner at Spice Market -- the restaurant was not very busy at all, but it did pick up as the night went on. For first timers the waiter/ress will fill you in on the 'SE Asian Street Food Concept' and give you ample time to decide what you want to eat. The choices are vast and there was so much that sounded delicious! In order to solve that conundrum the restaurant offers a 10-taste 5-course menu for $48 and ends up being a ton of food. It is served family-style, to be shared, to the center of the table. Based off looking at the menu again, this is what we had to eat: 1st course - Black Pepper Shrimp, Sun Dried Pineapple (really tasty) and the Avocado and Radish Salad with Chinese Mustard, Tempura Onions (very good) 2nd course - Charred Chili Rubbed Beef Skewer w/ Thai Basil Dipping Sauce and Spiced Chicken Samosas with Cilantro Yogurt -- both were really good 3rd course -- Cod with Malaysian Chili Sauce and Thai Basal (Chef's signature dish!) paired with Stir Fried Asparagus, Lotus Root and Lily Bulb (good, not great) 4th course -- Char Grilled Chicken with Kumquat Lemongrass Dressing with Ginger Fried Rice; both were tasty, well-seasoned and flavorful! 5th course -- Dessert Course; Ovaltine Kulfi with Carmelized Banana and Spiced Milk Chocolate Sauce (amazing!) and the Thai Jewels and Fruits with Crushed Coconut Ice (I liked this -- very unique dessert, see photo below) I hope that this restaurant is doing well and continues to do well -- it's definitely worth a visit if you have never been and the tasting menu is a great value! P.S. There's a current Scoutmob deal so be sure to use that -- $50 bucks off!

I have been coming here for about a year and a half. I have yet to have a bad experience. Recently I had the pleasure of being served by Rachel Yi. On that day she was understaffed, and had all the tables at the restaurant. You wouldn't know it from how she treated us. A key factor in this was that there was roughly 15 of us that day. We received exceptional service. A few weeks later we deiced to have my girlfriends birthday at Kellys. A ncie afternoon brunch with bottomless mimosas. We rented out the top floor, had 25 or so people, and again the service was amazing. I worked closely with Rachel on the planning, for which she played a great part. Nice set up, great food, good people. Jennifer Gonzalez was our server, and she was great. Always around when we needed something, never an annoying bother - a perfect combo for a server.... I haven't even mentioned the food yet. I ALWAYS get the spicy cuban pork sandwich. I have to say that this might be the best sandwich for the price, the best sandwich for the location, and maybe the best full service restaurant sandwich in town. Having said all that, you cant go wrong with their other choices. Go there, have fun, enjoy your weekend - repeat process the next weekend...
