by angela l. on niiiiiice! a friend celebrated his birthday here. i'm usually reluctant to go to clubs downtown because parking is a bitch and it's always overpriced and the bouncers always make things way too complicated. after circling the block a couple times we found a spot right in front. suhweeeeet. guestlist was free before 11, but we didn't get there until 11:30. just to press my luck, i asked if guestlist was still open. the promoter said yes, but there's a $10 cover. that's fine, as long as we get in. inside the place is huge and there's ample space to get your drank, walk around, and git dowwwwnnnn. there are VIP tables lined up along the walls and you will see alot of chicks dancing on TOP of the booths. drinks were pretty expensive, $12 for an LC? =[. the music was actually alright, but definitely not the best. overall, it was definitely one of the best clubs i've been to in SF, and i wouldn't mind going back one bit. it's a little swankier, so it's a good place to bring the lady you're trying to impress =P OH, and andris biedrins was there that night. neat.
by Alease Carcano on Came here for a show last fall. The atmosphere was great and relaxing. The upstairs floor where the show was had this small square room with a tall ceiling with another level for viewing the performing artist/band. They had some good beers on tap too. My favorite part of this venue is the size since it's not huge, it gives you a better experience and more intimate show. Definitely had a great time and look forward to coming back.
