by Elizabethe A. on The Happy Hour here is very reasonable, with a pretty good assortment of nigiri, rolls, appetizers, and drinks. The fish was very fresh and delicious, especially the escolar and salmon. I would stay away from the oyster shot. I've had much much better. And this one almost made me gag. Since the sake was so strong, it basically ended up tasting like murky sake with a giant booger in it. Because you know that's what an oyster is if you take away it's delicious and distinct flavor. The bloody mary with sake in it is incredible. And really cheap at happy hour. The ambiance is a little off during the day, since it kind of looks like the venue for an underground rave. But I'm sure that at night, it's spot on. Overall, you can get a really cheap sushi meal here during happy hour (which is all day sunday). But this still doesn't replace any of my top sushi places in Austin.
by Allie Laurich on Excellent brunch spot in Philly. My mushroom fritata was delicious, and my good friend Katie's Eggs Florintine were excellent. The spot is a bit hidden, and the interior decor is modern, a tad industrial without being full of itself. The staff were very friendly. This is a solid choice for brunch + lunch.
