Venue = 5 stars Staff = 2 stars The venue is outstanding. 22,000 sq ft (?), half indoors, half outdoors. My friend from Vegas called it half Tao Beach and half XS. My first visit here was for a soft opening for PR/model party (no models to report) and I was very impressed. Service was great but I'm sure the smaller crowd and the soft opening party had something to do with that. My second visit was tonight and the service here ranged from excellent to horrible. Management farmed in workers from Vegas and those guys know how to take care of people. But the the lady managers giving non stop attitude to our waitress basically begging for more tip (gratuity of 20% on two bottles wasn't enough?) was uncalled for. They definitely need to work out the kinks and I'm sure it'll be better times.

HAVE FUN WASTING TIME OUTSIDE AND NOT GETTING IN! This is going to be the new hot spot. I was here for the Oscars Afterparty. Update: After going here on their first night I realized this place has some major issues. - My first issue with the place is although it's exclusive it's too large I feel even if I was on the list I'd have to fight with other people to be seen outside, clubs of this size lose the intimate appeal other smaller sized VIP style clubs offer. - Going with the first issue the second has to do with people, I felt very ignored at this place like nobody wanted to know if I was on the list and when I said I was they didn't get the person with the list they just kept walking past me and they ignored me. You don't know where the front of the line is. Overall after talking with an LA Promoter the word is this place will only be hot for a few months, but if I were you I'd goto Trousdale which is run by a seasoned L.A. promoter Brent Bolthouse and offers a more intimate level of socialization. If you don't believe me read the rest of the reviews here, they will all most likely agree with this.
