by Concha Licausi on classy bar inside the beautiful St.Regis hotel with an awesome mural in front of the bar. the waiter was very friendly and made room for our group even though it was very crowded. we had beautiful cocktails and had a great night in a dark, fancy bar.
by Angila Wassmann on Beautiful venue. Was my dream to perform here until I finally did last week with my band, The Moonlight Orchestra. It must be difficult not to sound great in this place. I Love everything about this place, except maybe the fact that it's located in the Tenderloin, but whatever. It's an all-ages venue. There's a decent bar with decent food. Pricey of course. Amazing balcony. Awesome stage. Very cool staff, especially Josh, the stage manager. Backstage is underground where there's a ton of space. Three dressing rooms with comfy couches. They also provide beer and water bottles. The Great American is no joke.
by Darlene L. on Fun night, fun music, although the DJ played many of the same songs over again. Definitely go for the open bar hour between 10-11pm for free beer and vodka. That, and the free admission are what made this place worth it (ok, plus the fun music) -- but I wouldn't choose to go here unless they were having the open bar promo again. Oh, and I found the bathroom sort of odd, with the one-way mirrors and wine cellar.
