by Tami C. on I've been in this hotel for the better part of 3 weeks working with my team. My team has stayed here each time and I decided to stay last night. Love the staff for the most part. Bar staff is great, with the exception of Michelle (if she smiled, her face might crack!). No free breakfast like in other less expensive hotels. WiFi is available at $13/day. Bandera Restuarant is over priced and not very good! It took an hour to get food once it was ordered and it was cold when it arrived. Room is ok. I didn't feel the bed was comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was less than desired. Beautifully appointed, but left me disappointed. I won't stay again.
by Marie T. on all you can drink Mimosa Brunch anyone? Head to the Castro... and jump in line to LIME! I had the LIME OF MY LIFE HERE! Yummy food? Endless pomegranate mimosas? Good Music? Fun staff? WHERE THE HELL DO I SIGN UP?! i came here this past weekend while visiting a friend in SF. Oh My- can you say lime-tastic?! They don't have an extensive menu. But they keep it simple with the good stuff. What we order: Eggs florentine Frittata Cheeseburger French Toast Plane Jane Endless drinks include: Pomegranate Mimosas Orange Mimosas Bloody Marys here's the tricky part. but i remembered because you have to when you want to get drunk at 9am on a sunday! :) IF you start with a mimosa, you can switch between pomegranate and orange. IF you start with a Bloody Mary, you can switch from ALL THREE. get yo drink on boo! Eggs Florentine is an eggs benedict substitute the meat with spinach and INHALE! yum! I am DEFINITELY a fan of their hollandaise sauce. Their frites are seasoned skinny little things. BUT i couldn't help but inhale those too French toast - o_O is all i can say. yes, o_O Cheeseburger anyone? they come with frites... HUGE burger. again - o_O wash everything down with some liquor and marinate in your happy-drunkeness. once you're done and you still want to party? walk up the street to the Lookout. that place is the best place to party after brunch. whoo! have fun. be safe. and don't drive drunk kids!
