by Kurtis Bresette on One of my favourite burger places I've visited, and I love me a good burger. The decor is nice and modern. They serve fries and sweet potato fries in a mini shopping cart, mixed if you want them. So yummy! The burger was great too. Nothing disappointing about this place. Quite impressive for a burger joint. I guess in America they take their burgers more seriously than in Canada.
by Rebecca P. on I love gay bars because the drinks are stiff and the thrills are cheap, but a lot of times they can be a Lady Gaga, STD, weird anal bead chandelier bummer. But not El Rio. I went out for Hard French this weekend and danced my ass off to amazing soul music (which the deejays played from REAL VINYL and not their iPods!) and had the best afternoon of my life in recent memory. I came by myself and met a bunch of people who became my filler bar buddies. They were nice - not the type of people who make nice with you at a bar so they can slip you a roofie later. In short, my kind of people!
