classy bar inside the beautiful St.Regis hotel with an awesome mural in front of the bar.   the waiter was very friendly and made room for our group even though it was very crowded.  we had beautiful cocktails and had a great night in a dark, fancy bar.

We took my friend here for her bday and she had no idea where we were taking her. We all had so much fun. Everyone was nice and willing to do what ever it took to make sure we had fun. We had paid for her to be brought up on stage and it includes a calender and pic. Well we forgot them, so Scott popped it in the mail for us. Scott rocks, and Blade is hot., put him on stage!! Great place and lots of fun. Wish we could have taken a few home. hehehe We plan on going again with a larger group.

Okay so my hipster clothes were DIRTY and I had to don my "work wear" to the El Rio on Saturday night to see Pineapple Princess. Plus I promised to be a good girl (no drinkies for me) because on Friday night at Ruby Skye my friends turned into two drunken ho's and I had to play den mother all night long because security threatened to toss us out unless I could control them-the harpies. So there I was at the El Rio...nursing exhaustion and post hangover syndrome trying to soak up the atmosphere with my cuddle monkey who was happily sipping away.  I was mildly surprised-this juke joint has a definite homey feel. We played Scrabble out on the patio and just relaxed until the bands came on. Another couple was playing a board game...long time friends circled around a table...lipstick friends...glams...hipsters..there is an abundance of local flavor-I was reminded of the Bigfoot crossed with the Casbah. I liked it. Next time I come I will partake of the ambrosia and trying that shuffle board thingy.
