The atmosphere of the Tavern changes depending when you go. For lunch the crowd is typically businessy and around 5 you get your happy hour crowd, and the waitresses come out in the shortest skirts ever. The food is awesome anytime you go. I recommend the steak salad. They also have pretty good music on the patio.

Food was good but it took about 30 minutes for a waiter to show up, and that's after we went to tell the manager 2 times. The food then came one... at.. a... time... It basically took us about an hour and a half to get all our food because they got all confused about what we ordered and we had to keep reminding them what we were missing... sigh...By the time we got all our food the kitchen was closed and they were getting ready to close to change into the club. Jazz was lively but the club afterward was lame.. bad music and the place was overtaken by tweens using their older sisters' ID's to get in but wearing their baby's sister's dress. Don't think I'll be going back anytime soon... (also... there is very little parking on the street.. if you are lucky to find parking on the street, there is usually a blanket of broken glass.. so for peace of mind... you'll end up in the parking lot at about $7- don't park at Safeway, you'll get towed)
