I've been to Ten Pin Alley on a few occasions.  I have been for private events as well as a typical night.  Private events seem to be more entertaining because, of course, the food and beverage are free, but I digress. As a bowling alley, Ten Pin is average.  They have 10 lanes, which is rather small, separated in a 7 lane, 3 lane split.  The 3 lane section can be rented off for small private events. There is no shortage of flashing lights and loud music, giving it a different atmosphere than your average bowling alley.  The dress code speaks to that as well.  Try getting in with boots that could scuff their floors (not happening). The lanes themselves are in a state of partial disrepair, with horrible scuff marks on the wood in the middle of most lanes.  Though you can chalk that up to amateur intoxicated 'sophisticated' people tossing balls down the lane with no regard to skill or damage to the lane. The balls themselves are average, with some damage and seemingly slippery finger holes.  I've bowled great games there, and poor games. One game of bowling will go for $6 with a $4 shoe rental.  I've heard rumors that you can rent a lane for $30 per hour (which I don't know if that includes shoe rental) therefore favoring groups.  Monday nights are/were industry night for the service industry, so you bowl free. The bar is very nice, although pricey.  Bartenders are knowledgeable about drinks and are attentive, even on busy nights.  Waitresses do a good job keeping up with drinks if needed as well. The food is a pseudo-upscale trendy bar food attempt.  The marinated chicken and steak skewers are not too bad, though the steak is rather spicy.  I've had pieces of the Italian Smrgsbord of meats and cheeses, which were all good, but as expected.  Still have yet to try the sandwiches, but if the other food is any indication, I may as well go elsewhere in Atlantic Station. Nonetheless, like I said, great for private events, okay for bowling, okay for food.  Price is up there...  I'll go back if I get invited to another private event.
