by America Suprenant on I had heard abot the carrot maragarita, so of course I had to go. Ordered my drink, and yes, it took a long time, and didn't even taste very carrot-like. I went to order a cup of the soup of the day was told I had to order a bowl. Okay. What they brought me though was probably less of a cup ration! The soup was shrimp dumpling, and literally in this soup was broth, a cherry tomato, a sprig of some herb, and ONE shrimp dumpling. When I told the bartender there was only one, I was slightly mocked (after I had eaten all of the soup). It took a long time, and I thought I had been forgotten. Oh, now that I think about it, I was mocked (lightly) a couple times by the bartender. Enough for me to remember of course.... Needless to say, over-priced, very small portions. The atmosphere is interesting, but I don't know if that would be enough for me to return.
by aimee o. on date? wednesday, 8/5. time? 7:30PM. intent? to get VERY loaded at a friend's goodbye party. sadly, due to the mad painkillers for a bum ankle (thanks alot, UT), i did not get sauced - sure wish i could because there were some sweet specials. however, our little rowdy group may have possibly done the following: 1) devoted an entire album of "unique" pictures with my fan on FB. 2) unloaded the contents of wednesday's lunch into the one of the two bathrooms.* 3) after trying NOT to make eye contact for 1.5 hours, ran into a guy that we dated once ... and then had an awkward conversation about why we never called on the way out. yeah, yeah, it was totally ME, not YOU ... and your boring ways. who says alkie's necessary for a good time?** * - classy. ** - tear.

Good luck finding parking, but let loose on the dance floor and maybe catch your friends dancing on the bar! -Matt
