by Graham Meiss on Ok, so who would've thunk it that you could hang out on a rusty old boat while drinking a bucket of corona's and chomping on garlic fries in manhattan? I'll tell ya..not me, that's who. This is an awesome place. It's awesome because it is loaded with character. It's totally unique and right on the water. What a great place to go with your coolest peeps to hang out and people watch, or boat watch, or helicopter watch...or hell, all three and more! The biggest question when you come here is "where do you want to sit? hhmmm...we could sit on top of that boat over there...oh wait, what about on the end of the pier over there....oh wait, that boat has seating too....or do you want to sit near the bar??" So many choices! Wherever you sit, you are guaranteed a good time. Some reviews on here are bitching about the warm corona's. I say the hell with that. Come here to enjoy a good time with your friends with a great view. The drinks and food are secondary. Relax!!! The best place to come on the Hudson..hands down.

You have to deal with spotty DJs, lines, picky bouncers, dress codes (mostly for guys), and the occasional prissy atmosphere. But at Bootie, it really is all about the music. The mashups are amazing, and I love the eclectic crowds. I don't think any two nights at Bootie are the same. Notes: - Cash bar, but there's an ATM machine inside. - $6 cover before 10pm, and $12 after. This past month, we went for the 6th anniversary event, and they gave out CDs with the night's mashups. Unfortunately I had nowhere to put it because girls don't have pockets, but it was so nice of them. :) 'Til next month!
by Thanh Digiouanni on Three stars, why not? They never fail to remember a face and the service, at least from what I have experienced, is good. Ide say pretty darn good cocktails, too. There is an intimate outdoor patio, a couple of pool tables, and friendly people.
