Came here to see the DUD*S on Sunday night with my friends - a small group of PG&E employees listening to some great music. Band rocked, and they had an amber ale name Abita which we just had to have since it was one letter off from my name. Some good eye candy too. Overall just a laid back bar, reminiscent of watering hole days in college.

This place sucks and this is why: - Tacky, ugly, straight from the 70's decor. Gross. - Yes, it has a diverse crowd - nobody that is good looking, ghetto people who are rude by cutting at the bar, LOTS of cougars, HORRIBLE ratio!! - Pussycat Lounge was closed off because it was reserved so it was extremely packed everywhere else!! - Last call was at 1:30 am but by then, everyone left already - Not a great lounge since there was nowhere to sit, especially since "middle" room was reserved too - Not a great club because the "dance floor" was too small AND DJ spun beats that nobody could dance to - $10 after 10pm for all that crap!! +1 star for having a very sweet bouncer who let us in for free a few minutes after 10pm -- Thanks!! +1 star for having decently priced drinks TIPS: - You need a group of friends to come here and get drunk or else you'll be kicking yourself in the ass, wondering why you came all the way out here for this crap - DJ did spin some awesome old school beats! ..too bad it cleared the dance floor. Unless you're desperate or live around the Mission, don't waste your time coming here!!

Why does everyone give it such a bad rating? What do you expect? I mean, this isn't a place to take all of your friends for the evening, but, shoot, if you're in from out of town, or you need a quick drink with a killer view and a little schwank action, why the heck not go to Harry Denton's. I mean, I hear you don't like the crowd and all, there's definitely some truth to that, but you can BE YOUR OWN CROWD. It's just a little more difficult that way. Crowd isn't everything, nor is historical precedence. Harry's alright with me.
