by tom b. on I am an SPG Bigot and a Platinum member since I travel most of the time. I'll sum it up easily: Good: The bed, pillows, new rugs in room. Looks like a W when you come into the hotel. Food was excellent as well. Rooms are big Bad: This hotel is lipstick on a pig. You can tell it was something else before and they only painted the rooms and added new rugs. Really sloppy craftsmanship i.e. rubber moldings etc... does not look like a W or a 4/5star hotel at all. A little more budget on fixing the walls and ceilings would have gone a long way. No self parking - well at least I did not see any.

by Molly Prenger on So when I think of K-town...i don't think trendy lounge, which is definitely what this place is. I guess that is the difference between K-town in NYC vs. other places. A small (and i mean small!) elevator takes you up to the Third Floor, and when the door opens you are right in the lounge. There were four of us, and at 10 pm, we didn't have to wait long for a table. We got one of their soju specials ( a bottle of soju and either a food item or fruit platter) We got the asian pear flavored soju with chicken...I would have preferred the fruit platter because the table next to us made it look so refreshing. The chicken wasn't bad though...a huge bowl of fried chicken chunks (there were pieces of bone attached to the chicken so be careful). The second flavor soju that we ordered was Lychee...the Lychee had a lot more flavor, basically like eating one of those Lychee jelly things. yum! They play loud techno music and the service is pretty quick.
