Medieval Times is located in this huge castle at Discover Mills in Lawrenceville. It's basically a place where you eat an entire dinner like they did in medieval times and watch all these knights on horses joust and fight with swords. This is actually a chain with several castles (locations) located across the country. As you enter, you're given a paper crown and assigned a color. The color signifies what area of the battle arena you are seated and what color knight you're supposed to cheer for. Before seating takes place, you are free to wander the gift shop, photo area (complete with costumes and backdrops for you to choose), and a bar where you can order drinks. The show itself is as entertaining as you want it to be. You can have a lot of fun with it and cheer your knight on. If you've ever been to the Georgia Renaissance Festival, the jousting/swordplay tournaments are very similar. Your waitress will of course be dressed in traditional garb. The meal includes two drinks (limited selection of water, sweet tea, or Coke), tomato soup, half a chicken, garlic bread, and dessert. Not the highest quality food. They do give you a lot of chicken, so you may have leftovers (they do have to-go boxes). You eat and drink off of pewter plates and goblets. Additional food and drink cost extra. Young "maidens" will come to your table during the show and try to coerce you into buying flags to show support for your knight, colorful light-up necklaces and toys, photographs if you had any made, etc. After the show, you can meet and mingle with all the knights. Oooooh! Tickets are about $52 per person and they also have different packages and specials. I went on a two-for-one deal.

Came here for a party second to last weekend of August. Dolce was throwing a party here. The space here is awesome! Gi-normous tables you can dance on! That is true table service. Reasonable prices for bottles, great music, very mixed crowd. This was my first time here. But Ill definetly be back with another group and get a table by the tree.
